I am going to the movies tonight with some friends to see John Carter. This movie was not advertised nearly enough, because no one had fucking heard of it until after it came out. Usually there are so many ads for a movie that it makes you nausea’s, but not this one. The first weekend it was opened it nearly bombed. Then people started spreading the word and voila’, the movie is taking off. I have always loved science fiction and Disney does it so well. I was very surprised to learn that it was a Disney movie at all with the lack of advertising.

I have never known Disney to not push a movie. It really is amazing. Anyway,  I can’t wait to see the movie. It is about a guy who gets transported to Mars and ends up in a Martian civil war. He ends up with super powers, I think because he is from earth although I am unsure about that part. I will be able to tell you more about it after I see it though. We are meeting up at six o clock to eat before we go to the theater at TGI Fridays.  We are going to have a blast.
